This research opportunity addresses the critical challenge of energy transition in rural communities, focusing on remote properties where traditional grid extension is economically unfeasible. The project leverages Portugal’s abundant solar resources and topographic diversity to develop comprehensive renewable energy solutions tailored to rural contexts.
